Some places seem to hold onto the day a little longer.

High above Kielder's forests, Black Fell rises into the open skies of Northumberland's Border Country. Here, the landscape begins to change. Dense woodland gives way to exposed moorland, the horizon stretches for miles, and as evening arrives, the last light lingers on this ridge long after the valleys below have fallen into shadow.

It's a place that feels suspended between moments. Not quite day, not quite night.

Black Fell is our tribute to that transition.

We combined our single-origin Colombian coffee with our smooth decaf to capture balance in a different way. Black Fell offers a gentler approach without compromising what matters most: flavour, sweetness and character. The result is a coffee that sits comfortably between worlds, retaining the richness and complexity of speciality coffee while offering a softer caffeine lift.

In the cup you'll find notes of milk chocolate, caramel and ripe fruit, balanced by a smooth, comforting sweetness that carries through to a clean finish. Familiar and approachable, yet layered with subtle detail, it is a coffee for quiet afternoons and the gentle hours between day and night.

Like dusk over Kielder itself, this coffee isn’t about intensity or urgency. It’s about transition. A coffee inspired by the place where the light lingers longest.

Shipping information

We roast fresh batches every Monday and Wednesday. Orders are dispatched the following day, so anything roasted on Monday ships on Tuesday, and anything roasted on Wednesday ships on Thursday. This schedule keeps your coffee as fresh as possible from our roastery to your door.

If you need your order sooner, place it before our roast days and we will include it in the next batch.

We ship to the United Kingdom and the European Union. UK orders are sent with Royal Mail using Royal Mail 24 or Royal Mail 48. EU orders are sent with Royal Mail Tracked.

Delivery times are estimates provided by Royal Mail and are not guaranteed. Once your order has been dispatched, it is in the hands of the courier. We are not responsible for delays caused by the courier or other factors outside our control.

If your order contains both coffee and non coffee products, it will be shipped together in one parcel when the roast and dispatch schedule allows. This helps us keep everything efficient and ensures your coffee stays fresh.

For orders shipped to the European Union, any import duties, taxes or handling fees charged by customs on arrival are the responsibility of the customer. These charges are not included in the price you pay at checkout and we have no control over the amount, which is set by your country's customs authority.

Brew Spots
Storage

To keep your coffee at its best, store it in a cool, dry place away from light and air. Keep the bag sealed between uses or transfer the beans to an airtight container. Avoid fridges and freezers, as moisture can affect the flavour. For peak freshness, aim to use your coffee within a few weeks of opening.
